Forrester Research recently published a new version of their regular researches about B2B and B2C commerce platforms, The Forrester Wave™. In both B2B and B2B studies Magento eCommerce was named as a “strong performer“.
“Strong performer” is a second best ranking in Forrester’s Wave, after “Leader“. The rank is based on evaluation of a platform against 35 criteria grouped in 3 broad buckets – Current Offering, Strategy and Market Presence. Important to note that only limited number of the enterprise platforms were considered by Forrester to even be qualified for the inclusion of the research – 11 for B2B and 13 for B2C report. So it is quite an achievement to be included in the study for a software vendor.
