The solution
Magenable built the new Australia Tasting Room ecommerce platform on Magento Open Source with the Hyvä theme.
Hyvä provided a strong foundation for a fast, clean and maintainable storefront, while Magento’s multi-site architecture allowed the business to run 15 country websites from one central admin. This made it possible to tailor the shopping experience for each market without creating 15 separate ecommerce systems.
The Magenable team created a custom design for the storefront, reflecting the premium nature of Australian wine while keeping the buying journey clear and practical. The user experience supports customers who may be purchasing across borders and need confidence around pricing, delivery and checkout.
A customised checkout was implemented to handle the differences between destination countries. Each country website can apply its own native currency price, checkout logic and rules, helping Australia Tasting Room present a more localised and transparent customer experience.
